Turn on the Radio!

So Thursday I got a call from the local radio station! They saw the article about my Unicef campaign on harendekrant.nl and thought of interviewing me about it! I immediately said yes of course, all publicity for the campaign is useful! The guy on the phone asked me to come over saturday morning around half past ten. No problem at all, the pleasure is all mine!
So this morning I woke up, got dressed, had breakfast and jumped on my moped to have a ride to the studio. At first I almost got lost and started to panic a bit, because I was a bit late... Just when I wanted to call the studio I recognized the parking place they told me to stop. Okay, found it! I turned off my moped, parked it on a parking place where I actually wasn't supposed to park, but I didn't mind because I couldn't park it on the pavement because of the snow. The most important thing was that I found the studio and that I made it in time!
I walked in and they immediately started to call me 'Evelyn', after which I politely said that they were allowed to say 'Evelijn' if they wanted to. One of the guys understood me and told the rest in really clear language that my name was 'Evelijn' and not 'Evelyn'. Unfortunately, the guy who interviewed me didn't listen and called me 'Evelyn' the whole interview! I didn't really mind, except for the idea that soon everyone calls me 'Evelyn', or they will think a whole other person is behind the campaign! Just kidding, I didn't mind, most people will find out that my name is spelled different. We talked for about 20 minutes about my campaign and then it was over. Wow, all that stress and the nerves for 20 minutes of talking. At least I promoted my campaign and I have stimulated people to help me!
And in the future... Maybe I'll get famous! *grin* He he, you never know!
