This monday I had an exam which was so easy that I finished it in literally one minute! My best friend entered the exam too, so we decided to go and see a movie. At first we thought of Sherlock Holmes, but I had put that movie aside for another friend with whom I planned to go to the movie too. So we picked Millenium II: The Girl Who Played with Fire. An outstanding good movie in my opinion! Millenium is a trilogy and is a film adaptation of the books of Stieg Larsson. I didn't see the first movie but after I saw this one I'll defenitely go and see that one too! The third movie will make its entrance in the cinemas in march this year, another reason to spend my money on too expensive tickets.
One word for this movie: SEE!
Synopsis:
The Girl Who Played with Fire (2009) - Mikael Blomkvist, publisher of Millennium magazine, has made his living exposing the crooked and corrupt practices of establishment Swedish figures. So when a young journalist approaches him with a meticulously researched thesis about sex trafficking in Sweden and those in high office who abuse underage girls, Blomkvist immediately throws himself into the investigation. He’s had no contact with tattoed wild-child and computer hacker extraordinaire Lisbeth Salander since they risked their lives on a terrifying hunt for a serial killer last year . But unknown to Blomkvist, Salander has had contact with him – or at least, with his computer hard drive, which she has cloned and is monitoring from the vast new apartment she has bought with her fraudulently obtained fortune.
hello! I recently saw this movie and I must confess...I prefer the first one, but I still love Lizbeth Salander. hehe
